Checkin at KLIA

Wed 16 June 2010 KLIA at about 0700 hours.
There were long queue at the Checkin AutoTerminal as well as for “handing in baggage”.Is this acceptable?Is this what is meant by customer service or “rakyat didahulukan dan perlaksanaandi utamakan”?Only a few Terminal for handing in baggage available while as many MAS staff was seen ensuring passangers queue to hand in baggage.What a waste of resources and easy money for them!
When approached by me- enquring why more counter not openned,they walk away.The AutoTerminal Checkin is meant for faster processing.Why there is a need to check each and every passenger ID again.If that is the case then shelved the Auto Terminal Service.To me it is a duplication of job.You don’t need PEMANDU to see this and come up with improvement initiatives.You don’t need LABS.One can see ourselves what can be done for improvement.
I have heard a few cynical remarks in the queue.If one want to introduce change one need to do it in totality.In the west,they have Auto Checkin Terminal as well as Auto Hand-in baggage facilities.
I hope the authorities could “open up their eyes” and do something about this.

CWL Chalet Stay...An update

Well good news...this morning after few minutes posting on my blog & email the resort.

I got a call.The offer:

- 2nd night they will not charge me & free stay and additionally
- offering me one night stay voucher at Family Suite Chalet ...

Wau..that is good to me.But I dont think I step in there ... kena racun nanti...Probably I pass it on to my Bro In law whose wife is from Batu gajah.

So the conclusion - one need to stand on ones right..do not let others buly you...
be a fighter but of course on the right thing lah...

Two months ago I got similar treatment at Pizza Hut Kuala Selangor where the fee of about RM90 was also waive because of my feedback on poor customer service...

Sir...will upgrade your room at no extra cost...

Recently I was in Batu Gajah Perak because of work assignment at UTP - Tronoh - what an ulu place to be..No hotel nearby only a few chalets, inside a golf resort in Batu Gajah.In fact this is my first trip on my own & I was there before in a coach trip - business outing with other Managers.

My secretary make a booking for 4 nites at the resort. It was confirmed immediately and I have to pay by banking in to their account 50% of the charges which amounted to RM510.00 No problem.They confirmed it and stated that on the second nite I am being upgraded to a VIP Room at no extra cost because there is already prior booking to this.It sound good and in fact I asked it is a hastle to shift rooms and then on 3rd nite shift back to the chalet.Then they say it is ok they will help.

So on the second day morning,I cleared all my stuff and keep it in my car and returned the key.I asked for the VIP Room key so that in the evening I do not have to come to the Reception to collect my key.But then the frontdesk said - will get it for me if I can wait..OKlah I said nevermind & I collect it in the evening..

At about 645pm I am back at the Resort after a long day work - interview graduates for my co....SO they issued me with the key and offer to send me to the VIP Room.So Ok I said.I look at the key it is stated as VVIP Room.I followed the officer & I let him go after he showed me from a distance because I need to park my car ...space a problem there....

In my mind my previous experience being upgraded to a Presidential Suit at Hotel Istana was a memorable experience.

I look for the room it was stated VVIP Room.When I opened the door..wow....shit..it is lounge where sofas placed all around ( quite a big room ) & in the middle they put a single bed in front of a TV.

How come..in the interest of profit such professional could exist in this industry.Where is the customer service?The lounge is besides a bar.Noisy & it is not design as a sleeping place and at night no one around there as the bar is closed.

I went back straight to the reception counter and demanded them to make good the situation.The front desk was very helpful & but most hotel in town were fully booked.They found an apartment where the retal is RM380.I told them they will have to pay the difference - I am paying RM255 per nite.I was furious.The Area Sales manager by the name of one Mr Patrick refused to pay but the front desk then check and finalised the arranggement at a three star hotel where the hotel charges being billed direct to them....It all settled by about 10 & in fact I got lost along the way.

Well I requested for some form of compensation for all these hastle & but was turn down.At least I should get one nite free stay...
Then on the third day I decided to not do any dealing with this kind of unprofessional people & I stayed at other hotel.I dont think I will ever step in to this resort anymore.The resort who has no respect for their customers.....

Customer Service from Maybank...

Problem with Maybank Credit Card ,Customers are at the losing end.
Well how many credit card do you have?Is it safe and secure?Can anybody use it on your behave and you have to settle all the expenditure.
I have an experience with Maybank Credit Cards.I have been with Maybank for over 20 years.About 2 years ago while surfing my internet account I noticed that there is an authorised Credit Card transaction amounting to RM 1800 for the purchase of a handphone.
I immediately called the Maybank card centre and blocked all my cards.Then I make a police report and fill up all the necessary forms from the bank.
Later after investigation,I was issued with the transaction slip by the Bank which clearly shows it is not my signature.Then about 4-5 months later I received a letter stating that to them that the transaction was genuine and kindly advise me to settle the problem with the merchandiser.
Then I lodged a complain with the Finantial Mediation Beraau.have been close to a year, but till today I am still waiting for the outcome.
As for the police they only issue a letter to the bank requesting them to investigate the complain and clear the issue.Police have much bigger things to attend to…..
So in the end we the customers are at the losing end..They should make the merchandiser pay for it.The merchardiser should establish/verify the authenticity of all individual before transaction made or else no payment will be made for any dispute.
I am still patiently waiting for the outcome from my report to the FMB before I totally severe my relationship with Maybank.No doubt they are the best so far now in terms of customer service…

Selamat Hari Guru.....

Saya ingin merakamkan ucapan Selamat Hari Guru kepada semua guru-guru yang pernah menabur bakti kepada saya ....jasa mu dalam kenangan dan doa restu dari saya untuk anda semua.

Saya teringatkan guru-guru saya dulu Mr & Mrs Kwan,Mr Foo,Metersoon,Mr Briggs yang baling saya kapur masa saya tidur dalam Chemistry class,Ustaz Arshad yang selalu buli saya minta tolong buat itu ini sampaikan list markah student pun minta buat he... he...
Cikgu Mat Noor,Ustaz Othman,Arwah cikgu Hanif,Arwah Cikgu Hj M Yusoff..

Yang maseh hidup - dimana mereka agaknya sekarang ini.Tentu semuanya dah lama pencen & kita pun dah masuk usia nak pencen.

Saya anak guru,adik saya guru,ipar saya guru,biras saya seorang guru & isteri saya sendiri pun guru.

Kadang-kadang saya tengok guru2 dewasa ni memang kena pulun habis.Setiap Sabtu kerja & kita semua kerja lima hari seminggu saja.Kerja pun pada hari-hari biasa sampai malam.Kena periksa buku sekolah murid,kena sedia ringkasan mengajar untuk esok & kalau waktu cuti kena jaga peperiksaan.Elaunnnya beberapa sen aja tetapi semua kena paksa rela - sekolah hantar nama....Kalau tolak tak boleh...Kalau pi travel tu tuntut 1/4 kadar teksi....

Hari guru untuk meraikan guru pun di paksa buat gotong royong.Arahan Muhyiddin - kurang waras punya menteri - ini ke caranya untuk mengiktiraf pengorbanan dan jasa guru-guru.Tak cukup dengan bebanan yang telah diberikan setakat ni...Di Seremban lagi bagus,MB kata saya mahu jumpa makan malam dengan semua guru di NS.Apa punya pemimpin macam, ni...Semua dipaksa hadhir...Boleh duduk hotel ke..Boleh tuntut tambang perjalanan ke..kalau dah datang jauh-jauh dari Ulu Jempul,Simpang Pertang.

Polisi Muhyuddin asik bertukar-tukar dulu murid-murid tak boleh bawa handphone kesekolah & boleh rampas - sekarang lain pula ceritanya.Boleh ambil dan simpan untuk hari itu aje..Ini nak satu lagi hal - nak bawa mat salleh untuk mengajar kita BahasaInggeris dulu...Ini semua kerja Muhyuddin.Untuk Bahasa Arab tak pun nak bawa pak-pak arab ke Malaysia.

Satu lagi tentang penilaian sekolah - kalau sekolah tu memang punya PIBG kat Div 1 punya officer & professional housing area memang lah depa dah jauh kedepan dan dapat markah penilaian yang tinggi.Mak bapak beri sumbangan dan sekolah pun selalu dapat bantuan.

Dan lepas itu diberi lagi bantuan beribu-ribu ringgit...Wajarke aspek penilaian sebagini...Kalau sekolah tu memang sekolah dipilih student memang lah prestasi mereka bagus.Bodoh betul penilaian sebagini...Mana nak pergi sekolah yang daif - akan terus daif.Peruntukkan untuk tahun ini pun dah dikurangkan tetapi untuk beri ke sek di Ulu Selangor 3 juta tak pe..Yalah bukan duit depa & duit Rakyat.

Semua yang Muhyuddin hamburkan mendapat tentangan rakyat....

Wahai guru sampai masanya untuk anda semua bangkit... buka mata anda dan sedarkan anak-anak murid anda dengan kepincangan-kepincangan ini.

Awas kalau dah lewat 50an...

24Dec saya baru balik bercuti sekeluarga.Ini adalah percutian yang ketiga sekeluarga keluar negara.Pertama-tamanya dulu mengerjakan Umrah sekitar 2004,then Amsterdam 2006 dan yang baru ini ke Dubai.Disamping itu ada juga keluar negara untuk tugas resmi dan selalunya bercuti dalam negara aje..

Pada pagi Jumaat 25Dec saya dikejutkan dengan berita rakan sekolah Tingkatan 4 & 5 dulu di SMSNS Gentam Kuala Pilah telah pergi menyahut panggilan Ilahi.Sakitnya khabarnya cuma demam panas..

Hari Isnin lepas 28 Dec pula pada sekitar tengahari saya dikejutkan dengan berita rakan saya yang baru menamatkan career dengan PETRONAS pada usia 55 tahun pada 26 Dec telah ditemui jatuh dan tidak sedarkan diri di bilik air.Bilik air tersebut terpaksa di kopakkan untuk mengeluarkan beliau.Beliau sekarang menerima rawatan di HUKM Cheras setelah dipindahkan dari Hosp Tengku Afzan Kuantan pada semalam 30 Dec.
Khabarnya perlu dibuat pembedahan untuk mengeluarkan blood clot di kepala beliau.

Puh...ini semuanya bahagian masing2.Tetapi persoalannya bagaimana persediaan kita.Adakah kita sentiasa terlena dibuai mimpi indah dunia & mengabaikan suruhan Ilahi.Bagaimanakah sikap kita.Berbangga diri,megah dan lain-lain sifat yang keji..

Sama-samalah kita berdoa agar Allah SWT melindungi kita,agar kita berakhir dengan mudah dan berakhir dengan keadaan iman yang mantap.Amin.

Disamping itu kita perlumenjaga pemakanan kita,stress level kita dan banyak exercise jua...

KL Teksi

Assalamualaikum dan Sallam Sejahtera,Telah berlalu beberapa bulan saya agak sibuk dan tidak berkesempatan untuk mencoretkan sesuatu.Tapi hari ini "terilham" untuk mencoretkan sesuatu untuk tatapan sesiapa yang berminat.
Lamanya saya berdiam diri mungkin disebabkan "penangan" dari PakNgah PJ tu...

Teksi ya teksi KL - banyak yang hendak dipaparkan.Seseorang akan bertanya bagaimana lesen dikeluarkan,siapa yang dapat,berapa kena bayar.dll.Ada yang syarikat dan ada yang persendirian.Tetapi yang banyaknya syarikat.Siapa dibelakang syarikat2 ini.

Dua hari lepas saya berbual dengan seorang pemandu teksi,teksi jenis murah...agak lama tetapi taklah sampai berbau tandas (itu kata Nazri banyak KL Teksi bak tandas).

Pemandu teksi itu mengeluh - Hari-hari kena bayar sewa RM45.Sebulan dah RM1350.Untuk dapatkan gaji sekitar RM50 sehari - sewa+gaji+kos maintenace+minyak sekitar RM150-200 sehari harus dicari.Masa bertugas - lebih 12 jam di dalam teksi.

Sepemunya syarikat senang2 dapat 600-700 bersih setiap bulan setiap teksi - 10 teksi 6000-7000 ribu. Seratus permit teksi 60000-70000 puh kaya...tetapi yang merana pemandu teksi.

Saya terfikir-fikir inikah dikatakan Rakyat diutamakan,pencapaian didahulukan....cakap aje..

Mana tak adanya sikap segelintir pemandu yang bertindak buaya saperti yang terdapat disekitar KLCC,Bukit Bintang,Sg Wang dll tempat yang menjadi kunjungan ramai.

Kalau saya jadi Pemimpin,hapuskan sistem permit syarikat & beri permit individu.
Satu lagi pilihan adalah mengkaji berapakah kadar sewa yang wajar untuk setiap teksi dengan perkiraan keuntungan yang berpatutan untuk pihak syarikat yang jelas untuk menjaga kepentingan rakyat - saperti syarikat bekas-bekas polis,ashkar,dll dan bukan nya syarikat alibaba yang dibelakangi tokoh-tokoh politik...Satu lagi cara dengan memberi gaji tetap untuk pemandu teksi - basic minimum dan ditambah comission yang berpatutan.Sesuatu harus dilakukan segera sebagaiman kerajaan bertindak terhadap bas-bas mini satu ketika dulu.Apa pandangan anda?
